Materials
What it is actually made of
PU wall ball shell
Seamless rotational-moulded PU over a PP granulate core. A stitched PVC shell is cheaper but splits at the seam after a season of wall contact, which is the failure race organisers complain about.
1,000D Oxford sandbag
Double-stitched with a separate inner liner so the bag holds shape when filled with sand or steel shot. We ship shells empty and the buyer fills locally.
Polyester rope
Three-strand, 38 mm, with a vinyl end cap and a heat-shrink whipping so the rope does not unravel on concrete.
