OEM / ODM / private label
ODM development — from your sketch to a sealed carton
Most suppliers can print your logo. Fewer can change the material, the pattern, the mould and the carton. This page is the honest list of what we can develop in-house, what we buy in, how long it takes and what it costs to start.
Capability matrix
Eight things we can change, and what each one costs you
Each row is a separate development step with its own minimum and its own calendar time. You do not have to take all eight — most first orders take two or three.
| Capability | What we actually do | Minimum | Calendar time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pattern making | A pattern shop next door to the die cutter. We build the block from your sample, a technical drawing or a worn-out product you want to improve. | 200 pcs | 5–8 days |
| Material development | Neoprene thickness and cell structure, knitted compression grades, coated fabrics, webbing stiffness, foam density. We send a material card with every sample so you know what you approved. | 300 m | 10–15 days |
| Tooling and moulds | Silicone logo plates, die-cut steel rule dies, high-frequency welding plates, and simple injection moulds for buckles and clips. | 1 set | 7–21 days |
| Logo and print | Silicone print, heat transfer, woven and printed labels, laser etching, embossing and high-frequency debossing. | 200 pcs | 3–5 days |
| Packaging engineering | Hang tags, colour boxes, mesh and drawstring bags, poly bags with statutory warnings, and carton drop-testing for Amazon. | 500 pcs | 7–10 days |
| Testing and compliance | We send to a third-party lab for REACH SVHC, OEKO-TEX, AZO, phthalates, Prop 65 and flammability, and hand you the report rather than a promise. | 1 lot | 10–15 days |
| Pilot run | A small production run before the bulk order, so a stitching or colour problem is found at 300 pieces instead of 3,000. | 100 pcs | 7 days |
| Freight and FBA prep | FNSKU labelling, poly bagging, carton weight and size compliance, pallet plans, and booking to Amazon or a 3PL. | 1 lot | 3–5 days |
Development
Six steps, and what happens if one goes wrong
Brief
A photo, a sample, a competitor link or a drawing. We reply with questions, not a price — the questions are free and they save a month.
Mock-up
Your logo placed on the product image in 12 hours, so you can show it internally before spending anything.
Quote and plan
Tiered pricing, material card, carton plan and a date for the sample. One page, no attachment hunting.
Prototype
Physical sample in 7 days. You mark it up; we adjust once for free. Second round is charged.
Approve and produce
25–30 days with a photo report every Friday, from your own carton, not a stock photo.

Why development is fast here
The pattern shop and the die cutter are neighbours
In a trading company, every change becomes an email to a factory that answers in three days. Here the pattern maker, the die cutter, the laminator and the sewer are inside one industrial belt in Jiangdu District, which is where about 60% of China's sports supports are produced.
- A pattern change is days, not weeks. The block is re-cut on the same table the marker was drawn on.
- A colour match is a phone call. Foam, jersey, webbing and thread come from three suppliers within a few kilometres.
- A mistake is caught early. The pilot run happens on the same line as the bulk, so a stitching fault shows up at 300 pieces, not 3,000.
We do not claim to be the largest, the cheapest or the only factory doing this. There are about 200 factories in this district and several of them are better than us at something. We are telling you where we sit so you can compare properly.
Sampling policy
What a sample costs and when it comes back
Sampling is where most first orders stall, so the terms are written here instead of in a private email.
| Sample type | What you get | Cost | Credited back |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock sample | Existing model, our colour, no logo | Sample free, freight collect | — |
| Logo sample | Stock model with your logo applied | USD 30–60 per style | On orders above 500 pcs |
| Colour sample | Pantone-matched material, new trim | USD 80–150 per colour | On orders above 1,000 pcs |
| Developed sample | New pattern from your drawing or sample | USD 150–400 per style | Half credited above 2,000 pcs |
| Tooling | Silicone plate, steel rule die, welding plate | USD 60–300 per tool | Not credited — the tool stays yours |
Straight answers
What we do not do
A supplier page that lists only strengths is a page buyers learn to skip. These are the five requests we turn down, and why.
- Large steel equipment — Racks, treadmills, cable machines and plate-loaded strength stations. We are a soft-goods and small-plastic factory, not a welder.
- Electronics design — We can source and print on a finished timer, but we do not design circuit boards or firmware.
- Garment cut-and-sew at scale — T-shirts, hoodies and leggings in bulk belong to a garment factory. We make accessories, not apparel programmes.
- Certifying your product for you — A test report is evidence from a lab. A certificate is issued to a manufacturer. We give you both where they exist and tell you plainly where they do not.
- Copying a patented design — Send us the design and we will tell you if it looks like an active patent. We do not tool a product we believe infringes.
