Durability
What makes it hold up
Foam, not shell
Protection comes from the foam, not the leather. IMF holds its shape; cheap die-cut foam compresses within a month and the knuckles go through.
Stitch density
8–10 stitches per inch on load-bearing seams. This is visible in a photograph and is how buyers judge a glove before ordering.
Wrist closure
The hook-and-loop is rated for 25,000 cycles and bar-tacked at both anchors, which is where gloves split first.
